Each dress in this year's project celebrates the diversity and creativity behind iconic fashion and lifestyle brands. In a creative remix of each brand's signature prints Sue-Ching has added her unique spin of print mixing and pattern clashing to create these truly bespoke, one-of-a-kind darlings.
The September dress is a collab with a brand that really needs no introduction - Marimekko! Iconic in every way, their unmistakeable prints have been bringing the dopamine rush to fashion and homewares since they were first founded in Finland in the 50's.
All money raised from the sale of this dress will be donated to Batyr Australia, supporting youth mental health.
The 2023 Close to My Heart Project will support organisations working with youth who experience bullying & mental health challenges.
Made from cotton. Iconic mix of Marimekko prints with a large feature panel on the back of the 'Pepe' design, which depicts two parrots having a chat on a tree branch.
